Indianapolis Colts' Vince Lombardi Trophy to Make a Visit to Schneck
March 19, 2010

Seymour, Ind.—The Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Blood Center hosted the first-ever blood drive challenge in 2009, an invitational with nearly 70 organizations from across the state. The fun, spirited, friendly competition pitted organizations from 11 categories among their industry peers to see which could attract the most blood donors.

Schneck Medical Center is proud to announce that it donated the most blood in the hospital category and has earned bragging rights and the grand prize—a visit from the Indianapolis’ Colts Vince Lombardi trophy.

“We challenged our employees, visitors, and the community to show how much they cared,” said Gary A. Meyer, President/CEO of Schneck Medical Center. “The real winners in this competition were the many people who benefited from the blood that is given.”

The Vince Lombardi trophy will be on display in the Visitors’ Lobby of Schneck Medical Center on Tuesday, March 23, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
