September 20Emotional Eating
When you’re busy and juggling multiple responsibilities, reaching for food can be an easy, even unconscious response to your needs, stress, emotions and exhaustion. The reasons we turn to food are powerful—and go far beyond physical hunger. Dr. Joyce Spurgeon, Schneck Mental Health & Wellness, will teach you how to stop using food for all the wrong reasons, and how to be in charge of the food you eat, when you eat it, and how much.

October 19 - Eat to Live
You may not consider yourself a gourmet cook, but what you eat and how you prepare food can help you and your family maintain a healthy weight, prevent chronic disease and boost energy levels. Sarah Sparks and Lesley Kendall, Schneck Nutrition Services, will cook up healthy, delicious foods you can prepare at home for your family, and provide tips for you to become a healthy foodie.
