Schneck Foundation Accepting Allied Health Scholarship Applications
January 15, 2018
Schneck Medical Center Foundation Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that scholarship applications for allied health care fields will be available January 15, 2018.

Candidates who are interested in pursuing a course of study in a technical/professional allied health career are welcome to apply for consideration.  Acceptance for enrollment at a school and program of study in a technical/professional field is required for the scholarship to be officially awarded.

It is the desire of the Foundation to interest individuals in healthcare fields.  Since there are no other scholarships available specifically for this group, the Schneck Medical Center Foundation devotes its efforts to the allied health areas, including, but not limited to, clinical support areas such as speech therapy, respiratory therapy, lab technology, pharmacy, physical therapy and radiological technology. This scholarship program was started in 1992 and since that time has awarded over $443,000 in scholarships.

The scholarship application can be downloaded here or by contacting the Schneck Medical Center Foundation/Development Office at (812) 524-4244. Applications will also be available from counselors at local high schools.

Applications must be completed and returned to the Foundation/Development Office no later than March 15, 2018 to be eligible for consideration. Please contact Cora Laymon in the Foundation/Development Office at (812) 524-4245 or claymon@schneckmed.org with questions about the Allied Health Scholarship.
