Melissa Anderson, RN, MSN, FNP-C
Melissa Anderson is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Indiana University Kokomo for her undergraduate Associate of Science in Nursing studies and completed the Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Indiana University Purdue University Columbus. Melissa has worked at Schneck Medical Center as an RN for many years, most recently in the Emergency Department and Simulation Lab. She graduated in 2015 from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a master’s degree in nursing, concentrating her studies in the area of family practice. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Melissa is currently seeing patients at Schneck Family Care in North Vernon, IN. In her free time, Melissa enjoys gardening, knitting, spinning, and Civil War reenacting. 

Thomas Gregory Comstock, PA-C
Greg Comstock is a physician assistant, specializing in Family Practice with a sub-emphasis in Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine.

After graduating from Jennings County High School, he attended Indiana University for one year before transferring to Campbellsville, KY. He played baseball for the Campbellsville Tigers and semi-pro softball with the Green River Boys. Greg graduated from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Dayton, OH with a degree in Physician Assistant-Certified. He then earned an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN.

He and his wife, Debbie, have been married for more than 20 years. Debbie retired from Schneck where she served as a nurse in the intensive care, obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, general medicine and house supervision. They enjoy water sports, gardening, antiquing, reading, and the outdoors.


Walter H. DeArmitt, M.D.
Dr. DeArmitt is a board certified family medical physician. Before joining Schneck Family Care, he lead a successful family medicine practice in Columbus, IN. Dr. DeArmitt attended Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Vincent Hospital. He joined the medical staff of Schneck Medical Center in 2009.






John Fye, M.D.
Dr. John Fye is a board certified physician specializing in family medicine. He attended the University of Miami, Florida for undergraduate studies, then University of Illinois  College of Medicine for his medical degree. While there he was a member of the Rural Medical Education Program. Dr. Fye completed his residency at Ball Hospital in Muncie, IN. 

"Taking care of entire families from newborns to grandparents is both a rewarding and humbling experience," noted Dr. Fye. "I grew up in rural Southern Illinois just across the Indiana state line. A sense of community was something I learned early while working in my father's store as a young man. During my final years at the University of Miami, Florida I realized I longed to come back to the Midwest and join a community like the one in which I was raised." 

He moved to Seymour in 2003 with his wife, Kersten, and they have felt at home from the moment they arrived. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors biking, hunting, fishing, and hiking, as well as exploring the parks and outdoor beauty of Southern Indiana. Both also enjoy traveling and returning to Illinois to see family.


Jennifer Guthrie, PA-C
Jennifer Guthrie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Xavier University in 1998 with a Bachelors of Natural Sciences, and then went on to graduate Cum Laude with High Honors from Butler University in 2000 with her Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Jennifer has practiced in family medicine since 2000, and joined Family Medical Center in August 2012.  She took a full-time faculty position teaching in the PA Program at Butler University in January 2012, and currently serves as the Director of Experiential Education and Assistant Professor for the program. Jennifer completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree in May 2014 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

She married her high school sweetheart, Joe Guthrie, in 1999 and they have been blessed with two wonderful children, Sydnee age 13 years and Clayton age 11 years.  


Nick Lemming, M.D.
Nick Lemming is a board certified physician specializing in family medicine.
A native of Richmond, Indiana, he grew up just a few miles down the road from his wife, Julie. As a child, he enjoyed sports and participated on the high school cross country, track, and swim teams. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University and graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine. After completing a Family Medicine residency program in 2003 at Ball Hospital, he and his family moved to Seymour to join Family Medical Center. Both the health care and broader communities of Seymour have been a great fit for him and his family.

"Family Medicine has been a truly rewarding field for me. I am always grateful for the opportunity to be a part of so many people's lives as their family doctor," says Dr. Lemming. "I know I have been made a better person by these relationships, and I strive to have a positive impact on every patient and person I meet."

Dr. Lemming and his wife have three children: Abby, Sarah, and Andrew. They enjoy family time spent playing games, watching movies and enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Lemming remains a sports fan, enjoys exercising and rooting for his favorite teams.


Bradley S. Morin, M.D.
Brad Morin is a board certified physician specializing in family medicine. A North Vernon native, he attended Hanover College for his undergraduate education. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism honor societies and received the Family Medicine Award. Dr. Morin completed three years of specialty training in Family Medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana and served as Chief Resident for his final year. 

Dr. Morin, his wife, and three young children returned to North Vernon. They are active in the church, where he helps lead the college-age ministry. His faith in Christ is the most important thing in his life and has shaped all aspects, including his decision to become a physician. In his free time, he enjoys playing games with his family, sports, and cheering on the Hoosiers, Cubs, and Colts.


Judy Rumschlag, M.D.
Dr. Rumschlag is a board certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine. A native Hoosier, Dr. Judy attended Purdue University for her undergraduate degree in nutrition. After working with family practice residents to create an educational nutrition program, she decided she wanted a career in the medical field. She attended Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. Vincent Hospital. 

Dr. Rumschlag and her husband Leo have three children. She enjoys biking, hiking, singing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. 


Susie Schnitker RN, MSN, FNP-C, CEN
Susie Schnitker is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended the University of Indianapolis for undergraduate studies and worked at Schneck Medical Center as a registered nurse for 30 years in a variety of patient care settings. She graduated in 2015 from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a master’s degree in nursing, concentrating her studies in the area of family practice. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Susie is currently seeing patients at Schneck Family Care in Scottsburg, IN. In her free time, Susie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, and reading.


Martha Shirley, D.O.
Dr. Shirley is a family medicine physician. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. After her undergraduate studies at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, Dr. Shirley attended LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. Her family medicine residency was with Community Westview Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She has a special interest in acupuncture and osteopathic manipulative medicine. 

Dr. Shirley is a big movie buff. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, playing with her canine companions, and reading. What she likes most about practicing medicine? She really enjoys getting to know her patients and their families. Plus, no two days are the same. 


Pamela H. Snook-Tidd, M.D.
Dr. Snook-Tidd is a board certified physician specializing in family medicine and palliative medicine. She attended Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Francis Hospital. She joined the medical staff of Schneck Medical Center in 1999.






David R. Stout, M.D.
BC in family medicine
Dr. Stout is a board certified physician specializing in family medicine. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, and from there continued his medical training at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. After practicing medicine in the Indianapolis area for a year, he returned to his hometown of Seymour and founded Family Medical Center. Nearly ten years ago, Family Medical Center partnered with Schneck Medical Center to open the first Convenient Care, now known as Schneck Family Care.

Dr. Stout is married with two daughters and three grandchildren. His interests in family health care over the years have spanned the spectrum from obstetrics, having delivered over 2500 babies, to geriatrics and care for many of his “life-long” patients of nearly 30 years. Although he has “retired” from the practice of obstetrics, he enjoys utilizing his specialized skills in endoscopy where he performs both upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy.

In his spare time, he enjoy fishing, gardening, music, and just spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.


Judy Tape, MSN, FNP-BC, CIC
Judy Tape attended Indiana University and received her associate and bachelors degrees in Nursing. She later attended University of Southern Indiana and received a Master of Science in Nursing and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Since beginning her nursing career at Schneck Medical Center almost 40 years ago, she has served in various nursing capacities including obstetrics, pediatrics, intensive care, house supervision, and more recently in infection control and employee health. Judy is certified in infection control and is also a trained health coach from Cooper Institute. She serves on the Jackson County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and is a member of the County Health Board for Jackson County.

A life-long resident of Jackson County, she grew up on a dairy farm in the Wegan area. Judy and her husband, Mark, a local grain farmer, reside near Vallonia. They have two grown sons. "I am so blessed to have been raised in a family where Christ is the Head of the House," said Judy. "My faith in Christ has shaped so many facets of my life and has played a huge roll in making me the person I am today. I truly value treating others as I, or my family, would want to be treated." In her free time she enjoys swimming, working with flowers, animals, and family time. She is also an avid NASCAR fan who enjoys cheering on multiple race car drivers.
