Beat the Heat with FroYo Pops

Try making your own popsicles this summer. It is economical, easy and often more healthy than what you can buy in the store.  This recipe uses Greek yogurt which provides almost double the protein of regular yogurt in addition to calcium.  If you don't like mango, substitute the fruit of your choice.

Mango FroYo Pops

1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
2 cups frozen mango
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. honey

1.  Blend yogurt, mango, lemon juice and honey in a food processor or blender until smooth.
2.  Measure 1/4 cup into a paper Dixie cup, or use popsicle molds.
3.  Cover each cup with foil or plastic wrap and use scissors to make a small cut in the center.  Place popsicle sticks in the opening.
4.  Freeze until firm.  Peel cup away when ready to eat.  If using popsicle molds, rinse briefly in warm water to easily remove popsicles.
