Better Breakfast Month

September is Better Breakfast Month.  If you currently don’t eat breakfast or feel like you need to make better choices, try making this Overnight Oats recipe.  You can make enough for several days at a time and grab it on your way out the door!
 
Ingredients:
1/3 cup skim milk
1/3 cup vanilla yogurt (or flavor of your choice)
1/3 cup old fashioned oats
1 tsp. chia seeds
1/3 cup chopped apples (or add-in of your choice)
¼ tsp. cinnamon
 
Directions:
1. In container with a tight-fitting lid, mix all ingredients.
2. Cover and refrigerator overnight (at least 8 hours).  Will last for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
 
Makes: 1 serving
Serving size: 1 1/3 cup
