There is a variety of fresh fruit available at local farmers markets right now. This Fruit Salsa recipe is one way to use market finds or left over fruit from your fruit tray. Pair it with crackers, pita chips, graham crackers, wafer cookies or just serve it up as a side dish.

Try this festive, sweet dip with a comfort food twist this summer.

1 banana, diced
1 kiwi, peeled and diced
1 apple, cored and diced
2 Tbsp. lemon or lime juice
2 Tbsp. sugar
¼ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. cinnamon

1.    Combine fruits in a mixing bowl.
2.    Add lemon juice, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon and stir to combine.
3.    Refrigerate until serving time.  Serve with graham crackers or cinnamon pita chips.
