Schneck and Jackson County Department of Health Partner to Provide FREE COVID-19 Testing

Schneck Medical Center and the Jackson County Department of Health have partnered to provide FREE COVID-19 Testing.
 
“We have partnered with the Jackson County Department of Health to improve access to efficient, accurate testing,” said Dr. Eric Fish, President and CEO of Schneck Medical Center. “This partnership will help those in the communities we serve to keep themselves, their neighbors, and their loved ones safe.”
 
The clinic will open September 15 and is located in the former State Police Post at 721 East Tipton Street, Seymour. The hours of operation will be 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays.
 
Testing is free and individuals do not have to be symptomatic to be tested.
 
Appointments can be scheduled online at https://scheduling.coronavirus.in.gov/. Walk-ins are accepted, with registration completed onsite.
 
The Optum testing site currently located in the Schneck Professional Building will move to Brownstown beginning October 1.
