Vein Center Screening

Varicose veins affect half of the people over age 50 and in some cases such as with pregnancy, can start earlier.  Some individuals still think that varicose veins are just a cosmetic issue; but for many, varicose veins and related conditions can lead to significant leg pain, swelling and difficulty sleeping, along with more serious complications such as wounds, and ulcers.
Schneck’s Vein Center is pleased to offer free individualized screenings. The free screening includes an ultrasound exam and a conversation with one of our specialists.  During the screening you will learn about your vein health and whether you are a candidate for a full evaluation with a surgeon, which will assist in determining further treatment options.
At Schneck’s Vein Center surgeons pinpoint trouble spots within your veins through ultrasound technology and provide a long-term fix with a minimally invasive outpatient procedure that will improve your quality of life.  You can expect virtually little to no pain from the procedure, a fast recovery period, little to no downtime, and most patients will experience immediate relief. Procedures take approximately one hour from start to finish, and qualifying conditions are covered by most insurances and Medicare.
Due to federal regulations, Medicare and Medicaid patients are eligible for an education session, but not for the screening. However, these patients may schedule a consultation with the vein surgeon for further evaluation.
