She joined the medical staff of Schneck Medical Center in 2010. A native of Illinois, Dr. Dick knew she wanted to become a physician during an anatomy class in college. She and her husband Andy have three children. Her hobbies include reading, cooking and running. I grew up in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In high school I participated in band and ran track. In college, I played in the community orchestra. I also loved to read growing up. ### Please tell us about your family. I have an amazing husband Andy and we have three children Sullivan, Elin, and Finnegan. ### What hobbies do you enjoy? I still enjoy reading as well as cooking and running. ### Where would you like to visit? Butan in Asia! ### When did you know you wanted to be a physician? When I took an anatomy course in college. ### What is your favorite medical school memory? Meeting my husband! ### What do you like most about practicing medicine? I most enjoy connecting with patients, solving their healthcare problems and seeing their lives improve. ### What is your most memorable patient story? I was doing surgeries on Halloween one year and one of my patients showed up with a Frankenstein mask on, and insisted on wearing it until we were back in the operating room. Everyone got a huge kick out of that! ### What attracted you to Schneck Medical Center? I was looking for a small town with a hospital that was friendly and progressive.
