I grew up in the suburbs of Las Vegas. In high school, I played volleyball and softball. ### Please tell us about your family. My husband Joe works at Chase Bank as a private client banker. He loves what he does and has the traditional banker’s hours which allow him to spend time with our daughter Laurel. My parents and my brother also moved to Indiana when I joined Schneck so we can be closer together. ### What hobbies do you enjoy? I like to swim, scrapbook and spend time with my husband and daughter. I also enjoy spending time at my family’s lake house in Michigan. ### Where would you most like to visit? My husband and I have always looked forward to taking our daughter to Disney World! ### When did you know you wanted to be a physician? I have always wanted to become an obstetrician and gynecologist. This was solidified in medical school when I participated in my first delivery. There is nothing more special than being present for the birth of a baby! ### What do you like most about practicing medicine? My favorite part of medicine is getting to know my patients and being able to significantly help them. ### What attracted you to working at Schneck? One of the things that attracted me to Schneck was the da Vinci Surgical System. I was trained to perform robotic surgeries during my residency and wanted to continue to offer this to my patients at Schneck. I was also drawn to this hospital because of all the wonderful people I met.
