Check out the Q & A session below to learn more about Dr. Meyer. ### Where did you grow up? I grew up in Seymour, Indiana. In high school, I played golf and soccer. In college, I was the president of the Premedical Association at Indiana State and performed medical research with my work in immunology being published. I also played intramural sports including flag football, softball, volleyball, and dodgeball….my team was the 2007 Indiana State University Coed Dodgeball champions! ### What hobbies do you enjoy? I still love to play golf and soccer, and also enjoy reading. ### Where would you most like to visit? Hawaii! ### When did you know you wanted to be a physician? I knew I wanted to be a physician in middle school. Growing up around the medical field, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. ### What is your most memorable residency memory? Working with all of my co-residents and staff. They were all wonderful and made residency a great experience. ### What do you like most about practicing medicine? I most enjoy being able to help those in need. If I can help make them feel better, that makes me feel better. ### What is your most memorable patient story? It was a young women who came in very ill with meningitis. Her prognosis was poor when I first saw her and she was completely unresponsive. Luckily, through quick treatment, we were able to get the infection quickly under control. Amazingly, less than two weeks later she walked out of the hospital with minimal deficits. ### Why did you choose to practice at Schneck?
