-Jessi, Schneck Internal Medicine patient

I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and went to college at Louisiana State University.

I’m married to my wonderful wife, Kathryn. We have a two-year-old Border collie/Australian Cattle dog mix named Saint. I’m a middle child with one older brother and one younger sister.

I hope to visit Rome one day because I’ve always been very interested in the history of the city.

I knew from a very young age. I was able to shadow some local physicians in college and in high school which helped me to make my final decision to pursue a career in medicine.

The best part about my medical training was during residency and being able to watch my co-residents become more confident and knowledgeable about medicine throughout our three years together.

The best part about practicing medicine is the ability to form deep connections with patients. I’m honored that my patients trust me with their health. I also enjoy helping my patients understand and improve their health.

I was invited for an interview at Schneck and was thoroughly impressed with the facilities and the great atmosphere of caring that was evident throughout the hospital and clinic staff. Everyone that I met was enthusiastic and seemed to be enjoying their job. I’m very excited to be a part of this team!
