Schneck Breast Health Program

Excellence starts with the details

Nationally recognized for excellence by the Commission on Cancer, Schneck’s Breast Health Program brings women the most advanced breast health care, close to home. From diagnosis and treatment to recovery, here patients get the best care with the least worry for a quicker return to well.

Better care starts with a better diagnosis. At Schneck, care begins in our Women’s Diagnostic Imaging Center, an American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, with special imaging technologists and convenient-to-schedule mammograms. Using the Suros® Breast Biopsy System, our advanced imaging center turns a surgical procedure into an hour-long outpatient visit without stitches and scars. Here, same-day biopsy results mean better care, faster.

The best care starts here, close to home

Schneck’s primarily female staff, top physicians and personal nurse navigators serve as expert guides for patients, bringing advanced treatment close to your home. From coordinating appointments and procedures to simplifying patient/doctor communication, our certified nurse navigators help guide women back to health and keep referring physicians up-to-date for the best continuum of care. Here, women have the best reasons to stay local.

A quicker recovery starts with the right care

From risk-assessing genetic testing to expert breast surgeons and community support groups, Schneck focuses care on one goal: being well. For patients with a family history of breast cancer, our leading-edge genetic testing provides valuable risk information. Our team of expert breast surgeons carefully guides each patient through surgery, while our support group and post-op patient volunteers help women heal emotionally. Here, recovery is a team effort.
