Tammy will discuss: - Medical History - Family History - Pregnancy Dos and Don'ts - OB Visit Schedule - Needed lab work - Genetics and more! You'll be seen at 28 weeks and 32 weeks. You'll then have a sugar test and your appointments will switch to every two weeks. Newborn babies cannot receive vaccinations and are at risk to whooping cough infection. Pregnant mothers who receive the vaccine can protect their newborns until they are old enough to receive vaccinations. Travel cautions: - Taking a cruise is not recommended in pregnancy after 20 weeks - International travel is not recommended in pregnancy after 28 weeks - Domestic travel more than an hour away from the hospital is not recommended. - Please wear support socks on any flight or car ride longer than 2 hours. - Please consult your airline for any travel restrictions during your pregnancy if traveling. ### Dental Care It is very important to continue your dental care during your pregnancy. It is very common to have swollen gums and even some bleeding during your pregnancy. If you are having any dental issues, please contact your dental office. They will ask for a dental note from our office for recommendation in pregnancy. Please call the office with your appointment date and a fax number and we will send them your release. ### Breastfeeding Breastfeeding is really the best for your baby... and also for you!
