Visitor Information

General visiting hours are daily from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Visiting hours in our Family Life Center are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. 

When visiting Schneck Medical Center or a physician practice, please wear a face covering.

Beginning May 1, 2021, visitors will no longer be screened at entrances. Schneck Medical Center and Schneck Physician Practices will continue to follow CDC guidelines and require all patients, visitors, and team members to wear masks even though the statewide mask mandate has ended.

Anyone with fever and/or chills, sore throat, muscle aches, runny or stuffy nose, cough, fatigue, headache, and vomiting and/or diarrhea must refrain from visiting patients.

All visitors, over the age of 2 years, are required to wear a mask while in the facility and should practice social distancing.

Inpatient Visitor Guidelines

  • Isolation patients: Visitors may be allowed and guidelines will be discussed with the patient and family upon admission.
  • Non-isolation patients: Visitors are limited to two people at a time and must remain in the patient room throughout the visit.
  • Labor and delivery patients: Visitors are limited to two people at a time and must remain in the patient room throughout the visit.
  • Newborns and pediatric patients: Parents/banded visitors are able to remain with the patient throughout the hospitalization. Additional visitors are limited to two people at a time.

 

Surgery Visitor Guidelines

Visitors are limited to two at a time.
 

Emergency Department Visitor Guidelines

Visitors are limited to two during the patient’s stay in the ED and must stay in the patient room at all times.
 

Schneck Physician Practices and Outpatient Services Visitor Guidelines

Patients may have two visitors accompany them to their outpatient test or physician office visit.
 

Cancer Center Visitor Guidelines

Patients may have two visitors accompany them to their clinic appointment.

 

Telehealth Visits

Many Schneck physician practices are offering telehealth visits when deemed appropriate by the physician. Patients must have a device that has a camera and a microphone installed. Patients interested in scheduling a telehealth visit are advised to contact their physician’s office.
