45th Annual Dr. “Bud” Golf Scramble Raises Money for RN Scholarships

The team of Tyler Bullard, Andon Self, Joe Bullard, and Dave Self combined to score 55 and placed first in the 45th Annual Dr. “Bud” Golf Scramble at Shadowood Golf Course on June 24. Eric Fish, MD, President/CEO of Schneck Medical Center, reported that 55 teams participated in the event to raise funds for the Dr. “Bud” Nursing Scholarship Fund. 

The scholarship program was established in honor of Dr. H.P. “Bud” Graessle. Born in Seymour, Dr. Graessle was a practicing physician and surgeon for 53 years until his retirement in 1971. All proceeds from the golf scramble provide scholarships for nursing students in Jackson, Jennings, Scott, and Washington counties. 

The following teams were awarded golf prizes: 

First Place: Tyler Bullard, Andon Self, Joe Bullard, Dave Self (55)

  • Second Place: Brandon Goecker, Ryan Chandler, Steve Bush, Mark Henley (55)

  • Third Place: Luke Warren, Colin Woods, Joey Napier, Meghan Warren (56)

  • Fourth Place: Shane Spray, Ray Eakins, Matt Lucas, Alex Brewer (56)

  • Fifth Place: Nathan Hagerty, Josh Goins, Caleb Hamilton, Jason Sutton (57)

  • Sixth Place: Chip Petro, Bill Hunt, Mel Barnes, John Polly (57)

  • Longest Drive Women: Jamie Grinstead

  • Longest Drive Men: Justin Pettit  

  • Closest to Pin Women: Adrienne Farrow 

  • Closest to Pin Men: Beau White  

  • Longest Putt Women: Morgan Pyle 

  • Longest Putt Men: Brad Willkie
