Healthy Jackson County is a collaboration of many organizations within Jackson County, Indiana to improve the health of our community residents. The organization focuses on three key areas: Improving Nutrition, Decreasing Tobacco Use, and Increasing Physical Activity.
Mission
Create and promote a healthy environment to empower our Jackson County community to achieve improved health outcomes. We will do this through: Policies, Education, System and Environmental Changes.
Vision
To create a sustainable culture of health and wellness throughout Jackson County evidenced by improved health outcomes.
schneckWELL Community Health Fair
Schneck was happy to host a variety of reduced-cost and free screenings during our schneckWELL Community Health Fair on April 22. It was exciting to see so many community members taking steps to improve their health.
