Schneck CEO Dr. Eric Fish Elected to American Hospital Association Board of Trustees
Schneck Medical Center is proud to announce that Eric Fish, MD, MBA, FACOG, President and Chief Executive Officer, has been elected to the American Hospital Association (AHA) Board of Trustees for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2027.
The AHA Board of Trustees serves as the organization's highest policymaking body and is responsible for providing governance and strategic direction for one of the nation's most influential healthcare organizations. Fish is among seven healthcare leaders from across the country selected to serve on the board.

Fish joined Schneck Medical Center as President and CEO in September 2020. Under his leadership, Schneck has continued to expand access to high-quality healthcare services across southern Indiana. Today, Schneck's healthcare network includes 24 specialty practices, nearly 200 providers, and more than 1,200 dedicated team members serving patients throughout the region.
In addition to leading Schneck Medical Center, Fish has been actively involved in healthcare advocacy and leadership at the state and national levels. He currently serves as Chair of AHA's Regional Policy Board 5 and has held numerous leadership positions with the Indiana Hospital Association.

Beyond healthcare leadership, Fish is actively engaged in the communities Schneck serves. He serves on several boards, including the Schneck Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Seymour, Community Foundation of Jackson County, Jackson County Ambulance Authority, Jackson County Industrial Development Corporation, JC Bank Board of Directors, and SIHO Holdings, Inc. Board of Directors.
Fish earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Evansville.
The American Hospital Association is a national organization representing nearly 5,000 hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare organizations, as well as more than 270,000 affiliated physicians, 2 million nurses and caregivers, and 43,000 healthcare leaders through its professional membership groups.
