Schneck Medical Center Named One of the Nation’s 330 Top Hospitals for Physician Communication

Becker's Hospital Review has named Schneck Medical Center one of 330 Top Hospitals for Physician Communication. Becker’s determined the honors based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Schneck received a five-star rating in physician communication for how well each physician explained care and treatment, listened carefully to the patient, and treated the patient with courtesy and respect.

The star rating is based on survey data collected from hospital patients in the calendar year 2022. The figures are from the CMS Provider Data Catalog and were released on November 8, 2023. Schneck is one of only nine hospitals in Indiana to receive the honor.
