Schneck Medical Center’s Deborah Mann Earns National Recognition as a Top Rural Hospital CFO
Schneck Medical Center is proud to announce that Deborah Mann, CPA, MBA, Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Rural Hospital CFOs to Know | 2026” list. This recognition highlights financial leaders whose expertise, innovation, and strategic stewardship help rural hospitals remain strong and sustainable while ensuring access to high-quality care close to home.
According to Becker’s Hospital Review, the CFOs recognized on this year’s list are instrumental in helping rural hospitals navigate the complex financial challenges facing healthcare today. Through strategic planning, disciplined resource management, and innovation, these leaders preserve essential services, modernize facilities, and support the delivery of exceptional care within their communities.
Mann has been a cornerstone of Schneck Medical Center’s financial leadership team for more than three decades. She began her career at Schneck in 1994 as a staff accountant and advanced through multiple leadership roles, including Director of Accounting, Controller, and Vice President of Fiscal Services, before assuming her current role as Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO. A Certified Public Accountant, Mann holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
