Job Shadow Opportunities

Get up close experience in healthcare with job shadow opportunities at Schneck Medical Center. Schneck’s Job Shadow program offers a variety of professions to choose from. A hospital staffs more than doctors and nurses. A wide variety of professions - from physical therapy, to medical coding, to engineering - all work together to make Schneck a great place to work and receive care.

Dr. Bud Scholarship for Nursing Students

The Dr. Bud Scholarship was established in honor of H.P. "Bud" Graessle (1893-1977). Born in Seymour, Dr. Graessle was a practicing physician and surgeon for 53 years until his retirement in 1971. Schneck Medical Center accepts scholarship applications for the Dr. Bud Graessle Scholarship in the spring each year. The scholarship is for eligible candidates who are currently enrolled in a registered nursing program at an accredited school. Application window has closed for 2024.

Kim Quilleon Varnell Memorial Scholarship for Junior Volunteers

Schneck accepts scholarship applications for the Kim Quilleon Varnell Memorial Scholarship for graduating high school seniors who have previously been a junior volunteer with the Schneck Guild. The application is now open. The scholarship application window is closed for 2024.
