I started as a student nurse on obstetrics and pediatrics. I began my RN duties in ICU in May1979. Evolved roles included: 3-11 shift supervisor, assistant head nurse in ICU, 7-3 shift supervisor, infection control coordinator and employee health nurse. My role as a nurse practitioner evolved and I was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in October 2009 by the ANCC, and have served as a leased employee to Family Medical Center ever since. I am a member of the ANA, ISNA, CAPNI and AANP. I am also an appointed member of the County Board of Health of Jackson County.
Born at Schneck Medical Center. I have always resided in Jackson County. I am a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Wegan. I am married to Mark Tape since 1982. Two married sons: Clinton & Erin Tape, and Lance & Elizabeth Tape. I have 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. I am very blessed and enjoy providing care to patients I serve through Family Medical Center and being a part of the Schneck team since 1978.
