I grew up in Tacoma, Washington. In high school, I sang in the choir. In college, I enjoyed going to the beach!

Discovering that Miralax powder is exceptionally slippery on a tile floor! After a bottle spilled, the nurse, patient and I practiced ice skating until it got cleaned up!
Hanging out with kids all day. I also love taking care of newborns and educating new parents on how to take care of their babies.
After taking care of a very, very sick baby in the NICU, I was able to then take care of him as his general pediatrician. I watched him grow and learn to walk and talk, which is something we weren't sure he would ever be able to do. That sweet boy taught me how incredible and resilient children are!
