Billing Information

Schneck Medical Center will bill insurance companies when information is provided upon registration and there are benefits available. Billing or financial concerns after discharge may be discussed with the associates in Patient Financial Services by calling (812) 522-0411.

Whether via the mail, phone, in person, or on line, there is an easy option for you to pay your bill:
  • By mail - Include your credit / debit card number or check with the top portion of your bill.
  • By phone - Call (812) 522-0411.
  • In person - Go to the Cashier's Desk located on the first floor across from Patient Entrance. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The desk is closed on national holidays. Payments may be made at the Emergency Registration area during other times.

Important note: Schneck Family Care does not accept online payments. Patients may remit payment by mail, by phone or in person at Schneck or the Family Care location you visited.

Financial Assistance Policy

No person is denied needed care because they can’t afford to pay.

Schneck Medical Center's Financial Assistance Policy was established in order to identify and assist patients who lack the financial resources to meet all or part of their financial liability for services rendered and to determine their eligibility for Schneck Medical Center-based financial assistance.
