What Does a Respiratory Therapist Do?

Respiratory Therapists at Schneck are essential members of the clinical team. In this role, you will:

•    Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders or cardiopulmonary conditions
•    Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
•    Operate and manage ventilators and other life-support equipment
•    Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and adjust care plans
•    Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care
