I’m originally from Evansville, Indiana. Throughout high school, I was actively involved in basketball, track and field, and the National Honor Society, which helped me develop both teamwork and leadership skills. In college, I continued to stay engaged through intramural sports, which kept me connected and balanced outside of academics.
I have three wonderful children who keep life exciting and active. Harper is 15 and a dedicated soccer goalie, Carter is 14 and plays both football and basketball, and Charlotte, who’s 12, also plays soccer as a goalie. Supporting them in their sports and activities is a big part of our family life—it’s busy, but incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work, I stay busy with my kids’ sports—they’re very active, and I love supporting them from the sidelines. I also enjoy strength training, woodworking, and painting with oil and acrylics. These hobbies give me a great balance between staying active and being creative.
Australia and New Zealand — both are at the top of my travel list. I’m drawn to their natural beauty, unique wildlife, and the opportunity for adventure and cultural experiences in such stunning, diverse landscapes.
There isn’t one specific patient story that stands out, but the ones I remember most are those where the odds were stacked against someone—and I had the privilege of being part of their journey toward recovery, improvement, or even a cure. Being able to walk alongside patients during those challenging moments is incredibly meaningful and reminds me why I chose this profession.
I knew I wanted to be a physician from a very young age—probably as early as middle school. Honestly, it’s the only career I’ve ever envisioned for myself. That sense of purpose has stayed with me throughout my education and training, and continues to drive my passion for patient care today.
What I enjoy most in my role is interacting with patients, staff, and colleagues, and building long-term, meaningful relationships. Those connections are what make the work truly rewarding and remind me why I chose this path in the first place.
I was drawn to Schneck by its outstanding reputation—shared consistently by both current and former colleagues. From the moment I interviewed, the commitment to state-of-the-art care combined with a welcoming, hometown atmosphere was clear. That collegial environment and strong sense of community made it easy to see Schneck as more than just a workplace—it felt like joining a family.
