About:

Dr. Ryan Hennessy cares for patients of all ages at Schneck Primary Care. He received his medical degree from Washington University of Health and Science in Belize. He completed his residency in rural family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a fellowship in cardiovascular research at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Hennessy joined the medical staff of Schneck Medical Center in 2019.

Meet Dr. Ryan Hennessy

Get to know Dr. Hennessy and the passion that brought him to Schneck Primary Care.

I grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In high school, I was in the science club. Growing up I enjoyed swimming, track, skiing, and mountain biking.

My wife is also a family physician and we will be practicing together at Schneck Primary Care. My brother is a jazz trumpeter and film composer. Both my mom and dad are from New York. My mom is a speech pathologist and spiritual teacher and my dad is a hospital administrator.

I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and family! I also enjoy car engine restoration, running, reading, and being the coolest dad ever!

I knew I wanted to be a physician after taking an anatomy course in college.

The most rewarding aspect of being a doctor is helping guide and be on the journey with patients through the maze that medicine can be.

I’ve always loved Indiana and wanted to practice in a rural environment. Seymour is close to what seems to be everything, and everyone at Schneck is kind, funny, and feels like family. That is hard to find. It was no contest in deciding where I wanted to practice medicine.
