I began working in 1987 as LPN on the Ortho-Neuro floor. I became an RN in 1992 and transferred to Intensive care at CRH under the directorship of Dr. David Wilson. In 2007 transferred to Lung Center under the direction of Dr. David Wilson. In 2008 I became the Manager of The Lung Center at CRH and developed into The Lung Institute. I oversaw PFT lab, Pulmonary rehab and clinic staff. We hosted and taught other hospitals around the US about the institute including many procedures to help diagnose and treat lung disease such as Bronchothermoplasty, Spiration valve placement, probe based confocal microscopy, pleurX catheter placement, Cryospray for tumor reduction and navigational bronchoscopy. In addition, we were one of the first clinics to diagnose and treat Pulmonary Hypertension. As are volume of patients increased, I was motivated to obtain my Master's degree in Nursing. We then developed 5 other satellites.
2015 -I began working for pulmonary critical care at a hospital in Indianapolis. Then, the opportunity arose and I joined my mentor, Dr. David Wilson once again this year at Schneck Pulmonology.

I became a nurse as it was the apparent occupation after caring for children suffering from Cerebral Palsy and Duchene's muscular dystrophy in my own childhood. At a very young age of 13 would manage feeding tubes, care for patients with seizure activity and learning disabilities. It was very rewarding to me to help patients and see them improve. I feel it was a calling.

I was born and raised in Columbus Indiana. I married in 1989 and moved to Brown County. I have 2 wonderful sons. I enjoy working out, running, music and hanging around my family. I love working at Schneck because it is close to home and wonderful community. The employees here are very kind and empathetic to our patients.
