Schneck Integrative Medicine
Blending scientifically proven alternative practices with the best of conventional medicine, Integrative Medicine defines health as much more than the absence of disease. Focusing on preventive care, Schneck Integrative Medicine views health as the cohesive balance of mind, body, and spirit.

What is Integrative Medicine?
Integrative medicine is the practice of utilizing the best of conventional and alternative medicine. This combination includes the use of various treatments such as supplements and herbs, as well as approaching the patient from a “body as a whole” point of view. Integrative medicine prescriptions include an emphasis on lifestyle such as dietary programs and exercise.
Schneck Integrative Medicine incorporates age old healing techniques with state of the art modern medicine. Long before medicine as we know it began, people relied on herbs, acupuncture, dietary supplements, massage, and the healing power of the mind.
Today there’s a new interest in this natural, holistic approach.
Blending alternative medicine with conventional medicine, Schneck Integrative Medicine provides treatment customized to your needs. We view health as the cohesive balance of mind, body, and spirit.

Integrative medicine provides a lot of tools that can help complement conventional medicine with a variety of treatment programs.
Irritable Bowel – gut issues: we use various testing and treatment methods to help strengthen the digestive tract.
Low thyroid and Hashimoto’s disease. Our office likes to do a thorough look at the thyroid labs and assess nutritional and environmental factors that could be affecting thyroid production along with other hormones that may play a role.
Hormone issues such as menopause and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for both men and women. This can include estrogens such as estradiol estriol and estrone, progesterone, as well as testosterone and cortisol. Treatments may include bioidentical hormones or herbal and vitamin treatments.
Weight loss: Weight loss programs including include dietary thoughts, exercise programs, discussions on eating timeframes, as well as detoxification and hormone balance
Fatigue: These conditions usually require a combination of tools that may include nutritional assessment, hormone balance, assistance for sleep, and sometimes bowel health.
Natural options for heart health can include vitamins and chelation therapy.
Type 2 Diabetes mellitus: Nutritional and supplement suggestions to assist in lowering blood sugar and helping with diabetes problems such as neuropathy.
Natural treatment options for arthritis pain and headaches.
Supplement options for bone loss: osteopenia and osteoporosis.
Assistive therapies for cancer. These treatment options are not in place of conventional care, but to work alongside it and ideally help it work even better.
Treatments may include dietary changes, vitamins and herbs, IV vitamins including IV vitamin C, frequency specific microcurrent (FSM), B12 shots, Chelation Therapy, and acupuncture.
We use various forms of functional medicine testing at our clinic. While this is not an exhaustive list of what we can offer, the treatment programs listed above have consistently proven helpful to our patients.
