I am a family nurse practitioner provider primary care across the lifespan. I started my career at Schneck as a student nurse in 1992 on 2N until graduation. I returned in 1998 as a PRN nursing supervisor for approx 18 months. Family illness required me to give up my PRN position. In June of 2008, Columbus Regional Hospital flooded. I returned to Schneck in the ER to help out during this crisis. I came to my current full time position when the medical practice I worked for was purchased by Schneck in 2016.
I've been a resident of Jackson County for most of my life. It was my goal as a nurse practitioner to be able to work full time in Jackson County caring for the families in our community. My 16 years of emergency nursing showed me what a difference there was to be made providing primary care. What I enjoy most about working for Schneck is providing care to multigenerational families. I enjoy travel and reading when I'm not at work.
