Scholarships

Schneck Medical Center and the Schneck Foundation are pleased to offer scholarships to area students interested in entering the medical field after college graduation. The following scholarships are available:

 

Medical School Students

Amanda M. Dick Honorary Scholarship The Amanda M. Dick Honorary Scholarship was established in 2018 by Dr. Andrew Dick to honor his wife, Dr. Amanda Dick, a caring physician, skilled surgeon, loving mother and wife, and resilient breast cancer survivor. 

The Schneck Foundation is pleased to accept scholarship applications for the Amanda M. Dick Honorary Scholarship. This scholarship is for eligible candidates who are pursuing a career in the medical field and are currently accepted into medical school. The scholarship is open to female students pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Applications are available January 15 - March 15.

Clinical / Technical (Allied Health) Students

(including, but not limited to, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Physician Assistant, and Surgical Technology students)

The Schneck Foundation accepts scholarship applications for the Allied Health Scholarship. This scholarship is for eligible candidates who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a clinical / technical healthcare field. Applications are available January 15 - March 15.
 

 

  

Junior Volunteer Scholarship Application

Junior Volunteer Students

Schneck accepts scholarship applications for the Kim Quilleon Varnell Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who have previously been a junior volunteer with the Schneck Guild. Applications are typically available February 1 - March 31.

Nursing School Students

The Dr. "Bud" Scholarship was established in honor of Dr. H.P. "Bud" Graessle (1893-1977). Born in Seymour, Dr. Graessle was a practicing physician and surgeon for 53 years until his retirement in 1971.

Schneck Medical Center accepts scholarship applications for the Dr. "Bud" Graessle Scholarship. This scholarship is for eligible candidates who are currently enrolled in a registered nursing program at an accredited school. Applications are accepted March 8, 2021 to May 21, 2021.
