I grew up in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In high school I participated in band and ran track. In college, I played in the community orchestra. I also loved to read growing up.

I have an amazing husband Andy and we have three children Sullivan, Elin, and Finnegan.

I still enjoy reading as well as cooking and running.

I most enjoy connecting with patients, solving their healthcare problems and seeing their lives improve.

I was doing surgeries on Halloween one year and one of my patients showed up with a Frankenstein mask on, and insisted on wearing it until we were back in the operating room. Everyone got a huge kick out of that!

I was looking for a small town with a hospital that was friendly and progressive. Schneck certainly fit the bill!
