I started at Schneck 2 years ago after having moved here because my daughter, Dr. Savilla told me what a great place Scheck was to work. I was previously a neurohospitalist NP in a large stroke center in Missouri and also have done palliative care in Colorado. Over the years I've done oncology, sleep, urology and hospice. My first healthcare job was in a neurology office as an EEG and sleep tech so I have come full circle back to neurology. Currently I see patients in the hospital for neuro consults as well as in the office. I would say my specialty/favorite is migraine and stroke but I do see pretty much all the other disorders as well.

I always knew I wanted to do healthcare from a very young age. I was patching up injured critters and taking care of sick family members from a very young age. I think the TV show Marcus Welby, MD (I just showed my age!) got me interested and I never thought of doing anything else. The best part of working at Schneck is the other providers are very kind and helpful and the medical assistants and receptionists in specialty are top notch.

I grew up in West Virginia and was a big ol tomboy. I grew up hunting, fishing, riding horses and reading everything I could get my hands on. I moved to the mountains of Colorado as soon as I could, where we had motorcycles, lived on a ski slope, fly fished, hiked and camped all over the west.
